Our Staff

To care for and educate your child requires a genuine partnership and mutual respect. We look forward to developing this together.

We have university trained teachers (Bachelor of Teaching), staff who have attained a Diploma of Children's Services and all other staff have a minimum Certificate 111 or are currently undertaking study.

All our staff participate in or attend in-service courses and professional development courses. We continue to aim to develop all our staff and are committed to their ongoing education in all areas of knowledge in all aspects of early childhood education and care and school age care.

The centre prides itself on its retention of staff, this assists us to get to know you, to share relevant information about your child in order to best meet their health, wellbeing, safety and provide high quality learning experiences.

The majority of the staff have been here for over 5 years. Retention of staff is one of our major aims at the centre. We recognise the importance of building long term relationships with our families.

Our 11 babies are educated and cared for each day by three educators.

Our 15 2 & 3 year olds are educated and cared for each day by three teachers and educators.

The 30 preschoolers are educated and cared for each day by four teachers and educators.

Our OSHC co-ordinator has attained a Diploma of Children's Services. Most OSHC staff have a minimum Certificate 111 or are currently undertaking study.

All staff at Snowy Mountains Care and Early Learning Centre and OSHC have undertaken child protection training and have first aid certificates.

The Administration Officer is available each day to welcome you to the centre and to help with any paperwork.

A professional cleaner comes each evening to thoroughly clean the centre. This is much appreciated by all and allows the educators and teachers to focus on the children.

Jackie Jackson is our Director.

When we talk about community, we are not referring to any aggregate of people, but the quality of communication among them. M.Scott Peck
